Vijaydeep Fabrics Pvt. Ltd. is always concerned and committed to greener environment and gives utmost importance for controlling the pollution. In textile processing industries water pollution is the major issue. This is handeled in 3 stages:
Treating the wash water from the dye house in an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) by biological method of precipitation by chemical dosing, aeration, settling and filtration. This reduces the Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD).
The treated water from the Effluent Treatment Plant is processed in a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant. The permeate water from the RO palnt which is about 85% of the input water is recycles and used in the process plant.
The reject water from RO plant with high Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) is mixed with dye water effluent and subjected to evaporation in 3 sets of Multiple Effect Evaporators. The water vapour from the evaporators, after condensation, is also reused in the process. The effluent water is fully processed and reused thereby the company achieves ZERO DISCHARGE status.
The treated water from effluent treatment plant is used for cultivating land surrounding the process unit.
